便秘, 真的是因为缺乏摄入纤维吗?
很多人认为少吃或不吃蔬菜会导致便秘,但仅仅真的是因为这样子吗?
答案是,错!
摄入足够的纤维有助于排便,但也并不全是如此。
对于饮食方面缺乏摄入纤维的族群,膳食纤维确实可能改善便秘。不过除此之外,日常的生活习惯也正是导致便秘的主要因素之一。
以下的日常生活习惯将会逐渐导致便秘:
1.服用药物 Medication:

服用鸦片类的止痛药,抗酸药和抗抑郁等的药物将会造成便秘。
Opioid painkillers, antacids and antidepressants may cause the relaxation of gut cells, leading to constipation.
2.疾病 Disease:

糖尿病患者和炎症性肠病患者比普通人更容易便秘。
Patients prone to diabetes and inflammatory bowel disease experience more frequent constipation than a healthy person.
3.生活起居无规律 Irregular lifestyle:

睡眠不足,因工作繁忙而未养成按时排便习惯的族群也会导致便秘。
This is especially for workers that could not defecate on time due to busy schedules.
4.忽略喝水 Low water intake:

即使摄入足够的纤维,但忽略喝水的重要性也会导致便秘。除了纤维之外,粪便还需要水分帮助它膨胀。如此一来,膨胀后的粪便才能对肠道产生刺激。
Fibres require water for it to dilate and stimulate the movement of the intestines.
单靠摄入足够的纤维是不够的,想要排便顺畅,需要兼顾以下方式:
1.每日适度的运动 Regular Exercise

早上起床后不妨散步、慢跑、做体操,有助于肠道蠕动。
Start your mornings with some simple exercise such as jogging, running and aerobics. This will help stimulate bowel movements.
2.摄入足够的温开水 Stay hydrated with warm water

多喝温开水有助于身体各个器官补充水分,刺激肠胃道蠕动,增加便意,对改善便秘,有正面帮助。
Drinking warm water helps replenish water, stimulate bowel movements, and relieves constipation.
3.培养按时如厕的自我训练 Relieve yourself when you need to

在生活中,有许多人没有依照体內的自然反应如厕,而是选择忍便到方便时才上廁所,因此从而逐渐导致便秘。
We tend to hold it in and only relieve ourselves when we have time or when its convenient, causing constipation over time.
4.适当的按摩腹部 Massage your abdomen

按摩腹部可以帮助刺激肠道,促进排便。By massaging the abdomen, it will stimulate bowel movements and relieve constipation.

如果你已摄入足够的纤维却还是被便秘缠绕,那么增加食物中的纤维摄入可能会使情况更糟。
But if you still experience constipation after eating an adequate amount of fibre, eating more fibre may worsen your condition.
